Hammer mill introduction
The hammer mill is a machine whose purpose is to crush materials by the collision between the high-speed hammer and materials. It is suitable for milling raw material like tree branch, cotton stalk, corn stalk, wheat straw etc, with size less than 50mm (diameter). After milled, the output size can reach diameter 3-5 mm, then it is suitable for further processing.

Hammer mill can grind many kinds of biomass, the output can be produced into feed pellets or wood pellets by pellets mill.
1. Grinding the granular raw materials, such as corn, sorghum, wheat, beans, etc.

Hammer mill Features 
1. Derived from tear circle types hammer mill, the working efficiency can be improved by 45%-90% compared with universal hammer mill;
2. It can produce qualified feed under full load and can reduce jam significantly with the screen hole of semi diameter 0.8mm/1mm. Both coarse and fine grinding can be realized without changing screens;
3. The right aspiration can make materials go through screen quickly, reduce temperature of grinding chamber and increase output effectively.

Hammer mill working principle
A hammer mill is actually a steel drum consists of a vertical or horizontal rotating shaft or drum on which hammers are mounted. The hammers swing on the ends of the cross freely, or fixed to the central rotor. The rotor is spun at a high speed inside the drum while material is fed right into a feed hopper. The material is impacted by the hammer bars and is thereby expelled through screens in the run of a selected size.
